Camp Lake of the Woods
Day Camp

Camp Fire offers a variety of activities to make your child's day camp experience unforgettable! Campers will enjoy archery, hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, and other outdoor activities lead by experienced, caring (and cool) counselors at Camp Lake of the Woods. At Camp Fire, campers embark on a 5-day exploration to find their spark and create a camp experience that is truly unique to their interests.

For all youth ages 6-14

In addition to traditional camp activities, campers will embark on weekly field-trips that correspond with that week's theme!

Can't make it to camp in time due to a busy schedule? Don't worry!
Camp Fire offers 3 convenient pick up/drop off locations available for only $10 per camper/per week!

Day Camp Schedule

Nature Spark - $130
June 9-13
Campers will explore nature and get their hands dirty with this rustic camp experience! Create a mud-masterpiece, geocache, and explore plants, animals, and our environment.

STEM Spark - $130
June 23-27
How can you use technology to connect to nature? What kind of cool science experiments can be done outdoors? Can you find math in nature? Answer these questions and more during a week full of science, technology, engineering, and math!

Aquatic Spark - $130
July 14-18
Calling all water bugs! Splash, play, and soak up the sun with this H2O-focused week. Go swimming, play water games, and even venture into Kansas City for some fun-filled, aquatic field trips!

Art Spark - $130
July 21-25
Campers will express themselves through creativity during 5 days of artistic discovery! Channel their inner-Picasso, Shakespeare, and Warhol with activities focused on drawing, painting, writing, photography, and performing arts.

Outdoor Skills - $130
July 28-August 1
Think you have what it takes to survive in the wild? Campers will learn to build a fire from scratch, find and create shelter, and navigate their way through the outdoors. Develop your child's outdoor skills through this hands-on, action-packed week!

Early and Late Care
Regular camp activities are scheduled from 9 am-4 pm. If your schedule requires an early drop-off or late pickup, we have staff available to accommodate. Early care hours are 7:30-9:00am at no additional charge; Late care hours are 4:00-5:30 at no additional charge. All campers must be picked up no later than 5:30pm.
